So, my little Hannah came to stay the night with me a couple weekends ago. We ate at Steak n Shake and went shopping at Target. We bought cute head bands and matching fuzzy socks. Then we came home and did iron on decals to our shirts (actually I mostly did them because Hannah was sleepy and couldn't get off the couch). We were also excited because I had bought a s'more's maker at the thrift store with Mom so we were going to use it. Except when we got home and opened the box, it ended up just being a bowl and a little tea candle, much to our disappointment. Attempting to create the same effect, we tried holding the marshmallows over the candle and catching them on fire, but eventually just used the microwave as a last resort. They were still very good! Hannah plugged her ipod into my ipod fish and we jammed to some tunes before going to bed. In the morning we made brownies for Gramma and Poppy. Also, Hannah had to cheer at the football game so we met Becky at Gramma and Poppy's house so Hannah could put on her uniform. Too bad Becky forgot Hannah's spanks! So, she got to wear Gramma's leggings! How many gramma's do you know that own leggings? Thankfully, we scrunched them up and Hannah cheered a very good game!
This weekend Becky and the kids and Cooper came over Saturday. Becky highlighted and cut my hair while her kids tore my house apart. But we had a good time :). Today I went to the Kansas City Art Fair with a doctor and nurse I work with. It was very fun! They had lots and lots of cool jewelry and scarves and artwork, photography, sculptures, and pottery. In my mind I spend ten's of thousands of dollars! The doctor bought some jewelry for her and her daughter but I just didn't have that kind of money, and neither did the other nurse. We tried lots of it on and took pictures as you can see. Many of the Plaza restaurants had booths set up as well. We ate at that McCormick's place that has the chocolate bag. I had some very good shrimp tacos.
Well, tomorrow I go to watch the munchkins at Gabe's house after work. That will be fun. Jerren said she will make spaghetti so I'm happy! Well, bye for now!
Nellie- Grandma G and I viewed your page together. We love the first picture. too cute! I am sure I would have needed I mean wanted many things at the art fair too. love, Mom
ReplyDeleteYou look like you are having fun being a grown-up. Also Dad needs to teach you how to put pictures in the blog it self and not just along the side. But keep on posting.
