The Girls...and Zoey!

A couple weekends ago I had a girl's night at my apartment.  It was me, Whitney, Christina, and Whitney's friend Shelby.  We had a very good time!  With endless snacks, we played Just Dance 2 all night long.  Everyone met Zoey and she had a great time with all the attention.  Whit and Shelby stayed the night and Christina went home to her dog, Petey.  In the morning Zoey woke everyone up early, which was fine because Whit had to go to work.  I made the girls an egg and cheese sandwhich and they left.
I have started training Zoey.  She now knows "sit", "down", and we are working on "C'mere" as I have her sit and stay as I back up and then say "C'mere".  Needless to say, she has a hard time staying.  I thought I would use the word "c'mere" because she is already familiar with it.  She also seems to know her name now and the word "potty".  She is basically potty trained as well.  She goes outside or in her pin on the puppy pad.  She can now also jump on the couch and the other day made it up on my bed as well, which I was not happy about...the bed is off limits!!  Everyone knows this!  Zoey has also started hiding her bones.  We went to Gramma and Poppy's house to do laundry this weekend and I gave her two different kinds of bones, both of which she hid.  So they didn't really keep her busy too long which was annoying.  Just FYI Mom and Dad, you may find various bone fragments around the house! :)  I think I found them all, though.  Oh yeah, a car stopped in front of Mom and Dad's house when I was there like they were looking at it, but don't worry everyone, I chased them off.

How precious...

Aunt Rachie bought her tag!

Mom and I went to the after Thanksgiving sales on Black Friday.  We had a good time finding everything we needed!  Mom even bought her grand-dog two big stuffed animal buddies that Zoey loves!!  She sleeps by them and pulls them out of the pin to play.  We decorated for Christmas the rest of the day.  I had bought a new pre-lit tree at the sales and had it plugged in less than 24 hours before the devil bunny had chewed off the end of the cord (not plugged in at the time).  I was not very happy with her.  The tree now does not light up around the bottom rim.  Special thanks to Zoey.

Becky came over Wednesday to do my hair.  She brought lots of stuff from Mom like things to wrap Christmas presents, garage door opener, and my favorite...deck lights!  I put Zoey's coat on we all went out and hung them up right away.

I finished all my Christmas shopping at Independence Center this weekend.  It was crazy busy but I was in and out within a few hours.  Well, I think that is all for the update!  Zoey and I are looking forward to Christmas in Oregon!  She also has a vet appointment this weekend again to do another round of shots!  And Aunt Rachie is coming to see us!!!  Pictures will follow.

This is a rare picture of Dad holding a dog....Zoey felt so special!
